MILWAUKEE -- A local organization held a mock fatal car crash to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving on Saturday, June 22. Organizers say after several serious crashes earlier this week, the reenactment hits close to home.
Cynthia Williams' journey toward a new life purpose is fueled by pain. Her 17-year-old son was killed in a car crash caused by an inattentive driver.
The goal was to bring awareness to distracted driving through the Parents Against Distracted Driving program hosted by the Love From Afar-The Christopher Allen Williams Foundation. The program included a motorcycle ride through the city to unite riders of all ages, genders, races and religions.
Ride also helped raise money, awareness for fight against distracted driving.
