Dr. Cynthia Williams is the heart and soul behind Love From Afar Grief Recovery Agency, as well as the Christopher Allen Williams Foundation and Parents Against Distracted Driving (P.A.D.D.). With a profound personal history of loss following the tragic death of her eldest son, Christopher, in 2006, Dr. Cynthia has transformed her grief into a powerful force for good. She is a two-time author, with titles including "Concrete Soil" and "After My Daddy Left," which delve into overcoming grief and childhood trauma, respectively. Her work is driven by a passion to provide others with the tools needed for healing and resilience.

Based in Atlanta, Dr. Cynthia has been recognized extensively for her contributions to the community, including receiving the President's Lifetime Achievement Award and being inducted into the Apex Museum of Women in History. She was recently honored with an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Humanities, affirming her commitment to healing and community service. Dr. Cynthia leads workshops across the country, helping families break generational cycles of trauma and advocating for safer driving to prevent tragedies like the one that impacted her family.

In addition to her leadership roles, Dr. Cynthia is a certified teen life coach, mediator, mentor, motivational speaker, and a recognized Grief Recovery Specialist. Her guiding philosophy, "You are better Healed than Unhealed," encapsulates her approach to fostering growth and recovery through love, moral values, and community unity. As a single mother of four, her personal and professional life is dedicated to ensuring a positive future for all young adults and providing a beacon of hope for those touched by loss.
